Who we are
Serenade Singers is a choir which grew originally out of St John’s (Sidcup) Amateur Operatic Society. We found that it was becoming increasingly hard to recruit new members – especially men – to take parts in our shows, so we took the decision to continue singing as a choir instead.
We practise most Thursday evenings at Footscray Baptist Church from 7.45-10.00, singing a wide range of material.
We perform about 10-12 concerts each year at local clubs, schools and residential homes.
